Biscuit Brand Celebrates Same-Sex Relationships

Adam and Steve along with their pals Eve and Niamh front a new Valentine’s biscuit range.

This Valentine’s Day you will be able to treat your partner (or glutinous self) to a iced biscuit collection depicting same-sex relationships, thanks to luxurious brand Fortnum & Mason.

The tins, which depict either a male ‘Adam and Steve’ pair or a female ‘Eve and Niamh’ pair, have already proved to be incredibly popular and have sold out in many stores in the lead-up to Valentine’s.

The exclusive range consists of gingerbread biscuits that have been delicately hand-iced to depict the famous garden of Eden biblical story but with a same-sex twist. Those looking for the traditional ‘Adam and Eve’ in gingerbread form will be satisfied to know that such version is also available.

A spokesperson for the biscuit brand said:

Fortnum’s has always been for everyone, with excellent taste, and we are delighted with the response to this collection. We can’t think of better biscuits to enjoy with a cup of tea this Valentine’s Day.

Whilst stock may be limited in stores, the biscuits are still available on the Fortnum and Mason site and are priced at £15 each.
