Discovering the signs that you’re in a negative relationship can be tough, just ask singer-songwriter Nina Luna.
Her new single ‘Red Flags’ is a brooding yet upbeat anthem about moving on from negative relationships in order to do better for yourself. Luna is originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but now resides in New York City with occasional stints in Los Angeles.
If you’re a fan of MUNA and Broods, then chances are that you’re gonna feel ‘Red Flags’. The track, which was written, recorded, mixed, and produced by Luna herself, is a perfect example of her ability to combine elements of electro, folk and R&B together in order to create an introspective, ethereal pop sound.
‘Red Flags’ was released on Friday, which also happened to be Nina’s birthday. Speaking about the track’s release, the singer said: “Today is my birthday and I am feeling extremely happy and grateful for everything life has brought and is about to bring this year.
“On that note, I decided to release a new song about aiming higher and saying goodbye to negative people and attitudes once and for all.”
