King Princess Shares Emotional Heartbreak In ‘Talia’

King Princess is reigning supreme on 2018.

King Princess has had an exceptional start to the year. Her debut single ‘1950’ has already passed the 30 million mark for streams, whilst the track has been praised by the likes of Harry Styles, Charli XCX, and The XX’s Romy Madley Croft.

Hot on the heels of her success, King Princess has released a new track to keep fans’ appetites at bay. ‘Talia’ is a quintessential song about heartbreak, as the singer calls out to someone long gone and out of reach. In the track, the singer sings that “if I drink enough, I can see you dancing, I can lay down next to you.”

The new single comes just as the Brooklyn singer was announced as the first act to sign to Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records.

Speaking about ‘Talia’, King Princess said:

Everyone has different ways of dealing with heartbreak. This was mine, and I hope it helps somebody else in the same way.

More music is expected to be unveiled later in the year, and if it’s anything like ‘1950’ and ‘Talia’ then it’s safe to presume that we’re in for a bit of a treat.
