Alt-pop duo closegood release ‘Easy’ video, showing that it’s never too difficult to love someone

Trans alt-pop duo closegood officially release the video for their latest track, with a little special something extra.

‘Easy’ Is a hypnotic slice of trip-hop pop filled to the brim with sweet harmonies and addictive spoken-word verses. The track is produced by Grammy-winning producer Anthony Kilhoffer, who is perhaps best known for his work with Michael Jackson, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi.

Describing their sound as dark pop that transcends boundaries, closegood are made up with California-based college friends Nyfe and Amada. “‘Easy’ is about recognizing that just because people may not put in the effort or care into loving you the way you need to be loved, does not mean you are too difficult to love,” says songwriter and producer Nyfe.

“To me this song serves as a reminder to let the people I love know how much joy and light they bring into my life as often as I can, having the reassurance that you are not hard to care for can be really powerful,” adds producer Amada.

The trippy visuals for the track, directed by Taylor Bivens, see the pair splashing in a pool in a back yard and swinging on a playground… Alright for some, eh.

Unless you’re living under a rock (also known as being tragically single), you’ll be well aware that Valentine’s Day is merely days away. To mark such occasion, closegood have created a Valentine’s Day card to make the day extra special for their fans. At least we can say we got at least one card now!
