Netflix’s ‘Comedians of the World’ promises to be a global comedy event

Starting the year with a bang (and a pretty hefty hangover too, we can imagine), Netflix will launch ‘Comedians of the World’ on January 1, 2019. The comedy spectacular will show how comedy translates across the world, featuring global comedians from the globe.

A first of its kind, the show will feature 47 comedians from 13 regions in 8 languages in an unprecedented stand-up comedy event special.

The groundbreaking series will feature a range of stand-up specials from comedians diverse in style, gender and ethnicity, taped in eight languages from around the world. All episodes will drop in one go – so get ready to start the new year off with a laugh!

Talent includes ‘Nailed It’ hostess Nicole Byer, UK’s Joel Dommett and Canada’s DeAnne Smit.
