Latest ‘X-Men Gold’ Comic Sees Iceman and Pyro Get VERY Friendly Together

It’s been three years since X-Men’s Iceman, also known to diehard fans as Bobby Drake, came out as gay. Whilst the superhero’s GLAAD Media Awards-nominated self-titled comic was axed earlier this year, Iceman is still making waves in the comic book world.

In issue 31 of the ‘X-Men Gold’ comic series, it’s revealed that Drake has been spending a bit of time with Pyro, also known as Simon Lasker. It seems like fire does sometimes match with ice as the pair talk over the fact that they had sex together three times in one night. Lucky!

Take a look at the scene below.

Fans have been sharing their delight of the superhero encounter online with many already hoping the pair make it long-term.

Back in January 2017, Iceman had his first gay kiss in the self-titled series with an inhuman called Romeo. Whilst that series has since been axed due to low sales, a new solo revival is in the works. Written by Sina Grace, who was part of the previous series, the comic will be designed by Nathan Stockman.

X-Men Gold will conclude with issue 36 in September 2018. Now, who do we need to share this story with in Hollywood to ensure the scene makes it to the next X-Men Movie? Ice, ice baby, indeed.
