In what just so conveniently coincides with Pride month, them. have unveiled a special edition of their drag webseries.
For those not in the know, Drag Me features well-known drag stars performing drag makeovers on some famous faces.
This time, Drag Race’s very own Miz Cracker has taken it upon herself to polish up Queer Eye’s food and wine expert Antoni Porowski.
The star of the Emmy award-winning makeover show discusses his past experiences with drag, his Polish heritage, and his coming out.
In the video, Porowski explains to the Drag Race star that he never really came out to his family because he has had relationships with both men and women.
“By referring to myself as gay, I felt like that, it wasn’t honouring the relationships and the real love that I had for the women that I’ve been in relationships with. So, I’m thinking the word I’m most comfortable with is, I guess, fluid and it’s so shocking to me how that surprises people.
“Call yourself whatever the hell you want to refer yourself as. It’s not something that should be judged or questions, it should just be embraced. It’s never been this clear, linear stereotypical path. “
