RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars: The Time Has Come

Start your engines, the new season of All Stars is upon us.

It feels like a lifetime ago that the cast of the new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars was announced and whilst many of us were expecting a January launch, we’ve finally had confirmation.

The show will begin on American TV screens on VH1 on Thursday 25th January at 8pm with a 90-minute premiere.

Whilst unconfirmed at the moment, it’s expected that the show will be available on Netflix in the UK the next day (26th January). It’s just been announced that All Stars 3 will air on Comedy Central in the UK, on Saturday 27th January at 10pm – a mere 48 hours after the USA!

If all your festivities over the past few months has left you feeling a bit disorientated, then here’s a reminder of the cast:

  • Aja (season nine; from Brooklyn, NY)
  • BenDeLaCreme (season six; from Seattle, WA)
  • Chi Chi DeVayne (season eight; from Shreveport, LA)
  • Kennedy Davenport (season seven; from Dallas, TX)
  • Milk (season six; from New York, NY)
  • Morgan McMichaels (season two; from Los Angeles, CA)
  • Shangela (seasons two & three; from Los Angeles, CA)
  • Thorgy Thor (season eight; from Brooklyn, NY)
  • Trixie Mattel (season seven; from Los Angeles, CA)

Whilst the cast is nowhere near as brilliant as the second season of All Stars, it’s still expected to be full of drama and impressive lip syncs. Shangela, Kennedy, and Chi Chi are absolute lipsync assassins so it’s going to be tough for whoever comes up against them on the stage.

Check out the trailer for the upcoming season below, and keep an eye on QWEERIST as we’ll be posting a lot more as the season draws closer!
