Ladies and gentlemen, start those engines as the cast for RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 4 has literally just been announced and, honestly, the line-up is sickening.
Internet sleuths may have already clocked on to the line-up but, for the rest of us, there’s some serious talent wrapped up in the 10-strong cast. Monét X Change, Latrice Royale, Trinity Taylor, Farrah Moan, Valentina, Monique Heart, Jasmine Masters, Naomi Smalls, Gia Gunn, and Manila Luzon will all compete for the ultimate Drag Race crown and, guess what, it’s coming sooner than you think.
Premiering on Friday, Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET on VH1 — one week after the Holi-Slay special, we’re just slightly over a month away from the season, which is bound to keep us warmly hydrated over the wintery season.
The cast and the promotional photos were all shared exclusively via Entertainment Weekly. The publication quoted RuPaul as saying that the season will hopefully rectify some of the after-taste the season three All Stars finale left. “I think it will shock fans, although I don’t think they’ll be as disappointed. We always try to do something fresh and interesting, and sometimes it turns out in a way that you don’t really expect. I love Trixie [Mattel]. She’s a real superstar, but I really didn’t count on the other girls who came back being so vindictive [and voting against Shangela].”
Check out the photos below, and be sure to keep an eye out for more on the queens on QWEERIST in the build-up to the season.
