Aaron Porter learns to love again in the seductively bold ‘I Wanna Let Love’

Aaron Porter returns with a stunning new track ‘I Wanna Let Love’ set to continue his ascent as a rising star of the queer pop scene.

Following on from the buzz-worthy response to his debut single ‘BOY’, which was listed as one of our top fifty singles of 2018, Aaron Porter is back with another bop filled with his now-trademark silky vocals.

‘I Wanna Let Love’ was penned on the way out of a period of heartbreak. It’s a call to pull down personal boundaries and let love in, Porter says: “‘I Wanna Let Love’ came at a point when I felt I could never love again. After a big break up, I found myself building this wall of complete independence around me. But surrounded by my independence I found all I wanted to do was love again and at any cost.”

The track is produced by collaborator Tev’n and with vocal production from Cameron Gower-Poole, who has worked with the likes of Dua Lipa, RAYE, and Mabel.

“Give me your worst, I’m ready to hurt over you” dares Aaron Porter on the track. With vocals as pure as his intentions and as unassumingly powerful as the deepest of heartaches, the track is a yearning glide of crisp melody and smooth beats that creeps under your skin and pulses with the seductivity of a new crush.

Aaron Porter enrolled at the BRIT School to study musical theatre, which led to his first break in the West End, before realising that performing his own material was his true calling.

On March 5th, Aaron Porter will play his debut headline show at London’s Thousand Island. The gig will be supported by Foxgluvv. You can buy tickets here.
